Six original paintings made with micaceous and earth pigments, accompany a narrative, written after an invitation from the French Minister of Culture to visit Lascaux and other Paleolithic sites in Southern France. Printed letterpress, in Centaur. Book is entirely of handmade paper. Paintings are tipped onto folios, and placed within an ochre-tinted paper chemise, placed in ochre-rubbed paper folder, slipcase of etched plexiglas.
